See Hostels See Hostels

Terms & Conditions

Last updated 16 Sep 2026

These terms explain how See Hostels works and what we each agree to when you use the platform, on the web or in the See Hostels app. Please read them before creating an account or making a booking.

In short

  • See Hostels connects seekers with hostel owners; we don’t own the hostels or handle rent payments.
  • Rent and deposits are paid directly to the owner; we charge owners a subscription, not a commission on rent.
  • Give a checkout notice at least 12 days ahead, and clear your dues — unpaid seekers are marked defaulters.
  • We provide the listing and messaging tools only, and are not a party to your agreement with the hostel.

Key terms

Seeker
— a person looking for and booking a hostel bed.
Owner
— a person who lists and manages a hostel on the platform.
Warden
— a person an owner authorises to manage a hostel day to day.
Platform
— the See Hostels website and mobile app.

1 What See Hostels Is

See Hostels is a listing and booking-facilitation platform that connects hostel owners with seekers. We do not own, operate, or manage any hostel listed on the platform. Rent, security deposits, and all payments are made directly between the seeker and the hostel owner.

2 Accounts & Verification

You must provide accurate information when you register, including a valid CNIC where required. Owners and wardens rely on this information to approve or reject bookings. Providing false information may lead to suspension of your account.

3 Bookings & Payments

Every booking is subject to owner or warden approval. To submit a booking request you provide payment proof or a transaction reference. Any security charges are set by the individual hostel owner and shown to you before you complete the booking. All money moves directly between you and the owner — See Hostels does not hold or process rent payments.

4 Checkout & Notice Period

To leave a hostel, submit a checkout request through the platform. The following rules apply:

  • Give at least 12 days’ notice before your intended checkout date.
  • If the owner or warden does not respond within 10 days of your request, checkout is approved automatically.
  • Checking out after the 5th of a new calendar month may incur a partial-month fee, shown to you within the platform.

5 Overdue Rent & Defaulters

Seekers with overdue rent are marked as defaulters and cannot make new bookings until their dues are cleared. Where a seeker vacates a hostel without formal checkout and without settling outstanding dues, the hostel owner may pursue legal remedies, including filing an FIR.

6 Platform Fees

See Hostels does not charge seekers or owners a commission on rent. Hostel owners pay a subscription fee to list and manage hostels, as described on the subscription plans page. Seekers use the platform free of charge.

7 Using the Mobile App

The See Hostels Android app gives you the same platform in an app. You agree to use it only for its intended purpose, and not to tamper with, reverse-engineer, or misuse the app or the service. The same terms and privacy policy apply whether you use the web or the app.

8 Acceptable Use

You agree not to post false listings or reviews, harass other users, upload unlawful content, or use the platform for any purpose other than genuinely finding or offering hostel accommodation. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.

9 Limitation of Liability

See Hostels is not a party to the accommodation agreement between seeker and owner and is not liable for disputes, property condition, or payment disagreements between them. We provide the listing and communication infrastructure only.

10 Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any dispute relating to the platform will be handled by the courts having jurisdiction there.

11 Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date above. Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the revised terms.
